Job Details:

• Day shift position working 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Home base in the Operating Room with possible floating to day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage varies depending on number of employees
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• 5 years of experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Charting system experience required - CERNER
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association)
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Skills include but are not limited to general OR, scrub orthopedic surgeries, laparoscopic assisted procedures, Da Vinci robotics, total joint replacement, C-sections, cholecystectomy, infection control, laser safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, universal protocol procedures, and specimen handling and labeling
