ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Floating to Emergency Room and Medical Surgical departments is required
• Holidays required
• No on-call required
• 48 guaranteed hours are NOT approved
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated and must be included in the body of submittal
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• TNCC preferred
• ER and Medical Surgical experience preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
• Provide total ICU patient care including ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care
• Unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2-3
• When floating to ER, responsibilities include answering call lights, passing medications, transporting patients, starting IVs, and drawing blood
• When floating to Medical Surgical, nurse will take a full patient assignment of up to 6 patients or may act as an aide for up to 12 patients
