Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating weekends, call, and holidays
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Cardiothoracic surgical tech experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Local travelers not accepted (must be located more than 65 miles from facility)
• On-call required on a rotating basis (every other weekend and one weekday per week)
• Must be within 30 minutes of facility when on call
• Block scheduling available
• Must be able to work 3 shifts per week from October through December with no time off restrictions during that period
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), CST, NBSTSA
• Proficiency with a wide range of surgical procedures including cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, urological, and general surgery cases
• Experience with aseptic technique, instrument processing, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol required
• Experience with surgical systems including Da Vinci Xi and Mako Surgical System preferred
• Serves patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Facility operates 19 surgical rooms with approximately 50 visits per day
