CT Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology and Cardiology department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 night shift: Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required per facility schedule
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,568

Role Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging including abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, soft tissue neck, sinuses, and vascular studies with and without contrast
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Support Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient imaging exams
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Produce high-quality special imaging with minimal supervision
• Function effectively in a team-oriented environment

Equipment and Systems

• Operate one Siemens CT scanner (non-cardiac)
• Operate two Shimadzu portable X-ray machines and one GE X-ray room
• Epic experience required for charting; Sectra used for PACS

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1 year CT experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• SCRQSA (R) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications
• Radiation badge required; provided by agency
• First-time travelers accepted
