Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including rotation through all buildings when needed
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Must attend all staff meetings
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Orientation is 40 hours
• Perform CT imaging across a variety of studies including abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Perform advanced imaging procedures including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, carotid studies, colonography, and enterography studies
• Conduct special procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Administer and prepare contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, and region of interest measurements
• Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Support emergency department, ICU, and Level 1 Trauma cases
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements
• Maintain radiation safety standards
• Use Epic for charting (required)
• Work with Siemens Force, Siemens Go.Top, and Siemens Somatom Definition equipment
• Use PACS and Sectra imaging systems
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA(R)(CT)
• Required experience: peripheral IV insertion, Siemens equipment, and Level 1 Trauma
• IR/Angio/special procedures experience preferred
• South Carolina license must be in hand at time of start
