Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Work on a 38-bed telemetry unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:4 up to 1:6 based on patient acuity and workload
• Care for patients with conditions including CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab procedures, and OHS patients downgraded from ICU
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro
• May float to Intensive Care Units for telemetry/medical appropriate assignments, medical-surgical units, and other campus locations
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per 4-week schedule period
• Schedule may vary and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
