Telemetry RN Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position. You will work 3x12 day shifts, providing 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 91-day contract beginning November 15, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,481.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Monitor patients on telemetry and maintain competency in identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• Coordinate care with other professionals across the care episode
• Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to your competency level

Requirements:

• Current Nevada RN license required before start date
• Minimum 2+ years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam

Schedule Details:

Your schedule is 3x12 days and may vary based on department needs, including potential weekends and holidays. No on-call requirements. You are required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period. The facility reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty for low census situations up to 48 hours per 13-week contract period, which may include full or partial shifts.
