Telemetry RN Job in Meridian, ID

St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on their 27-bed telemetry unit (expanding to 37 beds). You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,203.20 weekly, with a start date of July 27, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call or standby requirements
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Up to 4 shifts may be cancelled per 13-week assignment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Monitor and document telemetry every 6 hours using SpaceLab monitors (transitioning to Philips)
• Manage patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, and pneumothorax
• Administer cardiac drips including diltiazem and amiodarone at set rates
• Provide post-catheterization recovery care and manage chest tubes
• Perform NIH stroke assessments
• Work with TR bands and Fem stops for post-cath patients (preferred experience)
• Float to like units, Med-Surg, ICU (if experienced), and potentially to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center

Requirements

• RN degree with BSN required
• Minimum 2 years telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Cardiac drip experience with diltiazem and amiodarone
• NIH stroke assessment, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience
