Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with a schedule of Friday through Monday
• Case load of approximately 8 TTE per 10-hour shift
• On-call requirement of 1 week of call twice during a 13-week contract
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as required
• Perform TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE using Lumason contrast, 3D and Strain imaging
• See inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
• Perform structural echos including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
• Scan patients with devices such as LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
• Enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists
• Support organ recovery center and spine center operations as needed
• Holiday coverage required - if major holidays fall within the assignment period, traveler is expected to work them per established holiday policy
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Minimum 5 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, and RDCS or CCI RCS; Georgia license required
• Required skills: 3D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Emergency Department, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
• Philips and Siemens equipment experience preferred
