Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

Join MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 90-day travel assignment starting July 27, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work nights in a dynamic post-operative care setting.

Position Details

• Work three 12.5-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule; weekends off
• Weekly pay: $2,213.64
• 90-day contract duration

What You'll Do

You will primarily care for post-procedural patients who typically stay one to three nights following surgery. Your nursing skills will extend to monitoring cath lab patients and providing care to emergency department overflow patients as needed. You'll deliver comprehensive telemetry monitoring and direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment where your clinical judgment and attention to detail matter.

Schedule Considerations

Night shifts provide consistency with weekends off. Holiday coverage is assessed individually based on surgical volumes, and you may be asked to work certain holidays depending on unit census and operational needs.
