Endoscopy RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse with Endoscopy experience for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Orangeburg, beginning November 3, 2026. You will work 5x8 day shifts (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) at $2,026 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy department, managing a 1:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include assisting with and performing procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, esophageal varices and banding, PEG tube placement, and tracheostomies. You will administer and monitor conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation, manage airways, place and maintain IVs, handle specimens, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG readings.

Schedule and Call Requirements

You will work on a rotating schedule with every third weekend required. On-call is approximately every third weekend from 3:00 PM Friday through 6:00 AM Monday, plus some weekday call after 3:00 PM shared among travelers and two full-time RNs. You must remain within 30 minutes of the facility during call hours or have the option to stay on-site. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Block scheduling is available upon request but not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience required
• Current South Carolina license or Compact license (must be in hand prior to start)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted

Patient Population and Support

You will care for adult and geriatric patients. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and transportation.
