Endoscopy RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Endoscopy at MUSC Health Orangeburg. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with every third weekend required on-call from 3:00 PM Friday through 6:00 AM Monday morning. Some weekday call after 3:00 PM is shared among the traveling RN and two full-time staff members. You must remain within 30 minutes of the facility during call hours or have the option to stay on-site.

Your Role

• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio in a 3-room, 3-bed endoscopy suite averaging 14 daily patients (adults and geriatrics)
• Perform and assist with colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, PEG tube placements, trachs, and esophageal varices and banding
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation
• Perform airway management, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, start and maintain IVs, handle and label specimens, and obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Chart using Epic (experience required)
• No float between units or sister facilities

Requirements

• 2 years of Endoscopy experience required
• Previous travel healthcare experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active SC license or Compact license in hand prior to start date
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

Assignment Details

Start date: September 8, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,091. Scrub color: Navy Blue. The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
