Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Day shift position working either four 10-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts per week
• On-call every 4th weekend and 1-2 days per week according to staffing needs
• Float to assist in other like units as needed
• Work across various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and others
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data
• Provide appropriate age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
• Utilize standard work in relation to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators
• Precept and mentor novice employees to contribute to overall department performance
• Contribute to department growth through hospital-system initiatives cultivating nursing-involved Evidence Based Practices
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings
• Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and visitors
• Perform all other duties as assigned
