Emergency Room RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning December 7, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Assignment Details

• Location: Denver, CO
• Shift: 12-hour nights (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,365.20
• Duration: 91 days

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge periods). Your responsibilities include IV starts, venipuncture, port access, EKG placement, Foley catheterization, nasal wash, and point-of-care testing such as troponin, lactic acid, and urine dipstick. You will work with GE monitoring systems and electronic health records including Meditech and CPN.

Team Structure

Night shift staffing consists of 4 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 EMT. You will collaborate with an experienced team to deliver coordinated emergency care.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN or CPEN certification
• US IV competency
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience (for pediatric ED assignments)
