Medical Lab Technician Job in Salt Lake City, UT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a travel assignment at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a 13-week contract position starting September 28, 2026, with the option to extend to 26 weeks if interested.

Position Details

• Specialty: Point of Care Testing in the Emergency Department Lab (Freestanding ED)
• Shift: 4x10 nights, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off rotation
• Weekly Pay: $2,529

Responsibilities

• Perform point-of-care testing procedures in the ER Lab
• Support FSED operations with clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director
• Work collaboratively with emergency department staff

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential as Medical Lab Technician
• Current ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist)
• Point of care testing knowledge preferred

One position is available. You will work nights in a fast-paced emergency lab environment, managing time-sensitive testing and contributing directly to patient care in the freestanding emergency department.
