CVOR Technologist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Weekly pay: $1,531.20
• Weekend availability and on-call requirements
• Floating requirement to PMC location
• EMR system: EPIC

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for pre-operative patients, including skin preparation in accordance with hospital standards
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for potential breaches
• Provide comfort and support to pre-operative patients with sensitivity to privacy and care needs
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room suite and position them according to surgery type
• Identify and care for biological specimens
• Set up Operating Room tables, instruments, and supplies by case type
• Establish and maintain sterile field, pass instruments and sutures to physician, and assist as directed
• Scrub 3 specialty areas including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Titanium Rib, and Robotics (highly preferred)
• Use physician preference cards when pulling cases and setting up
• Maintain proper traffic control, dress codes, and adherence to OR sanitation policies
• Demonstrate competency in decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist or current LVN/LPN License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program
• BLS certification via AHA
• 2 or more years of experience preferred
