Job Details:

• Adult Emergency Room position at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
• Every third weekend shift commitment per contract
• 36 orientation hours required
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Daily census of 60-80 patients with up to 1,000 visits per day across 64 rooms/beds
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include trauma, burn, medicine, surgical, and psychiatric cases
• Provide emergency care including cardiac, trauma, obstetric, and gynecologic emergencies
• Patient levels of care include general, observation, progressive care, and emergency
• Perform and manage conscious sedation, vasopressors, arterial lines, vents, BiPAP/CPAP, and stroke center protocols
• Ventricular insertion and monitoring with NSICU support
• High-acuity environment requiring detailed physical assessment, critical thinking, and complex care skills
• Candidates will float within scope if needed
• 3 years of experience required with Trauma Level I experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• BSN preferred
• VA or compact state license required
• 2 references required
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (preferred), TNCC (preferred)
