Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holidays; weekend-only position also available
• On-call required: 40-60 hours per 6-week period, with approximately 6 call shifts per 6-week period (may vary)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Float required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; Level I Trauma experience required
• Circulate required; scrub preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most surgical areas except cardiovascular and transplant
• Specialties covered in Core 3 & 4: General, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal Robotics
• Average daily census of 70-80 patients across 21 rooms
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility; parking is free
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Indiana license, compact license, or temporary license required at time of start
• Required skills include but are not limited to: General OR, Trauma, Craniotomy, Total joint replacement, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Lumbar/Anterior cervical fusion, Nephrectomy, Mastectomy with TRAM flap reconstruction, Whipple procedure, and Level I Trauma
