ICU RN Job in Lafayette, Indiana

Join Franciscan Health Lafayette as an RN in our 17-bed ICU unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, offering the clinical depth and patient acuity you're looking for in critical care.

Shift & Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Every third weekend required
• On-call placement approximately once per month
• Float requirements apply across unit

The Role

You will care for patients with neuro, trauma, and medical ICU diagnoses, including stepdown and progressive care overflow. Patient ratios are acuity-adaptable, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on combined acuity. You will work with ventilators, IV pumps, CRRT, BiPAP, EKOS, chest tubes, and other critical care equipment within Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 3–5 years of critical care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Demonstrated cardiac rhythm knowledge; facility rhythm test required with 90% minimum passing score
• TNCC or TCAR preferred

Preferred Experience

• Stepdown or progressive care background
• TCAR or TNCC certification

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay is $2,221. Navy blue scrubs are required; sweatshirts are not permitted. Facial piercings must be removed or replaced with flesh-colored jewelry.
