ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an experienced RN for a 3x12 day shift position in their 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit. This role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with no call requirements and every other weekend commitment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 patient ratios depending on acuity
• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions
• Monitor and care for mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Operate specialized equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• Float to other inpatient areas when home unit census is low

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Comprehensive assessment skills with experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients
• Preferred experience with CRRT and Epic EMR
