MRI Technologist Travel Job in Portland, ME

You'll work as an MRI Technologist at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine, on a 182-day travel assignment. This position offers a 4x12 day shift schedule at $3,140 per week.

Schedule & Shift Options:

• Overnight shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Weekend shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, plus 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM Monday
• Weekend shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, plus 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Friday

You'll have 36 guaranteed hours per week with no on-call requirements. Weekend hours consist of 24 hours Saturday and Sunday plus one additional weekday. You may rotate between sites if not assigned to an overnight position.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Operate Philips MR 1.5T and Philips MR 3T Ingenia or Ambition scanners
• Perform neurological imaging including spine, brain, and brain perfusion studies
• Perform body imaging including abdomen, MRCP, kidney, and pelvis studies
• Perform MSK imaging for all related studies
• Work with both inpatients at one site and outpatients across all locations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required with mandatory Philips MR experience
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required
• ICU patient familiarity and anesthesia experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Maine State Licensing for MRI is not required

You'll use the Epic EMR system and must run protocols as written with a focus on quality patient-centered care. You're expected to be team-oriented, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and flexible. Any scrubs other than hospital-issued are acceptable.
