MRI Technologist Job in Portland, ME

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an MRI Technologist for a travel position at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 182-day assignment beginning October 4, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x12 nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Alternate shift options available, including weekend Saturday/Sunday with one weekday rotation
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $3,140

Clinical Requirements

You will work with Philips MR 1.5T and 3T Ingenia or Ambition scanners. Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required. Philips 1.5T scanner experience is required. You must demonstrate proficiency in:

• Neuro imaging (spine, brain, brain perfusion studies)
• Body imaging (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis studies)
• MSK imaging across all body regions
• ICU patient familiarity and experience with anesthesia patients

Level 1 Trauma Center experience is preferred. Breast, cardiac, and prostate imaging are not required for this role.

Credentials and Certifications

• Degree: Allied Health Professional
• Required: ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification
• Maine State Licensing for MRI is not required

Work Environment

You will use the Epic EMR system and work in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting. You are expected to be team-oriented, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on quality patient-centered care. Scrubs are required; any color except hospital-issued scrubs.
