MRI Technologist Travel Job in Rockport, ME

Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, ME is seeking a registered and licensed MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work evenings on a 5x8 schedule, providing high-quality imaging services to patients across a range of clinical needs.

About the Role

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate and maintain MRI equipment, positioning patients safely and ensuring optimal image quality. Your responsibilities include reviewing physician orders, explaining procedures to patients, monitoring their comfort and safety during scans, and maintaining detailed records of all imaging performed. You will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

What We're Looking For

• Current registration and licensure as an MRI Technologist
• Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling as needed
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
