Join MedStar Montgomery Medical Center as a Special Procedures Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering stability and predictability in a focused clinical environment.

Schedule & Compensation

• 5x8 day shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekly pay: $2,841
• No on-call or weekend shifts
• Every other holiday required

Role Overview

You will scrub for Interventional Radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures in a 2-room unit. You'll work with adult and geriatric patient populations, handling tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, Hickman lines), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, and Pleurx catheter placements. Vascular procedures include angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements. Pain management includes epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations. You may assist the team in CT and X-ray cases, though floating is not required unless accompanying procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Travel experience required
• Current Maryland license
• ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R, and Fluoro Permit certifications
• Proficiency with Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm
• Cerner charting system experience
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
