Respiratory Therapist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its critical care team on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required and holidays as needed. Initial orientation occurs on day shift.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care services in adult critical care settings
• Float to Main Hospital (adult population) as assigned, using the same policies, equipment, and Epic charting system
• Respond to emergency team activations as required
• No on-call duties

Requirements:

• Current NBRC RRT certification and active SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) licensure
• SC RRT license must be active and in hand at start date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care experience
• First-time travelers not accepted

Schedule and Compensation:

• Assignment start date: October 5, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,866.24
• Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off approximately 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block scheduling available with prior approval but not guaranteed
