Med Surg RN Job in Sioux City, IA

Join UnityPoint – St. Luke's Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit. You'll work the night shift as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, providing direct patient care and clinical expertise in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 nights with every other weekend required
• Duration: 91 days, starting September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,280.96
• No on-call responsibilities
• Non-billable orientation: 16 hours
• Billable overtime available between 36–40 hours per week (depending on arrangement); overtime billable after 48 hours per week

Requirements

• Current Iowa nursing license
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted)
• Valid driver's license with residence at least 50 miles from the facility
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg discipline
• 1 supervisory reference form completed within the last two years

Preferred Qualifications

• Heparin drip experience
