ICU Registered Nurse Job in Lufkin, TX

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will provide direct patient care in a 27-bed critical care setting while working nights.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $1,743
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Patient ratio: 2:1 in ICU; 3-4:1 on step-down unit

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Float to step-down unit as needed
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required
• Document patient information in the MedHost electronic medical record (EMR) system

Requirements:

• Active RN licensure
• 2+ years of critical care experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information:

• Navy scrubs required
• No 48-hour shift requirements
