ED RN Job in New York

St. James Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three nights per week on a split schedule.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Two nights per week in the Emergency Department
• One night per week in Medical/Surgical
• This split schedule is not negotiable and is a core part of the role

Your Responsibilities

• Provide immediate and efficient care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses
• Quickly assess and stabilize patients and determine the best course of treatment
• Work independently and make quick, accurate decisions in high-stress situations
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a team
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification

Assignment Details

• Location: New York
• Duration: 460 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,316.60
