Operating Room RN Job in Weston, FL

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, scheduled 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with liver and transplant call responsibilities and additional coverage as needed when those cases are not scheduled.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of direct liver and transplant OR nursing experience
• Strong clinical background in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases
• Demonstrated experience with organ implantation in recipient patients, not procurement alone
• Proficiency with Misonix and CUSA equipment
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification (required at submission)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained before your start date)

Role Expectations:

You will be on-call one shift per week and work two twelve-hour weekend shifts per month. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours weekly for 3x12 scheduling. You will float within scope to meet facility needs and participate in training as part of this teaching facility. All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application. Block scheduling is not available. Scrub color is Ceil Blue.

Key Skills and Experience:

Your expertise should cover appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources and cords, fire safety, general OR practices, Hana table use, hernia repair, infection control, laparoscopic assisted procedures, laser safety, mastectomy, organ donation protocols, specimen handling and labeling, universal protocol, urinary bladder catheterization, Whipple procedure, and wound management. Epic experience is preferred for charting.

Facility Details:

You will serve adult and geriatric patients across 18 operating rooms with a daily census ranging from 55 to 60 patients. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, and pending licenses are acceptable.

Compensation and Duration:

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,354.
