OR Registered Nurse Job in Weston, FL

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, offering a competitive weekly pay of $2,610.

Schedule & Compensation

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 4 days per 10-hour shifts
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month

Role Responsibilities

You will primarily support liver and transplant cases, performing other surgical cases as scheduled. You may float within scope to meet facility needs. This is a teaching facility, and you must be willing to participate in training. The OR manages a daily census of 55–60 patients across 18 operating rooms.

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of direct liver and transplant OR nursing experience
• Strong experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases
• Experience returning organs to the recipient patient, not just organ harvesting
• Proficiency with MISONIX/CUSA equipment
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)

Clinical Skills

You should be proficient in appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, electrosurgical units, general OR procedures, Hana Table positioning, hernia repair, laparoscopic-assisted procedures, laser safety, mastectomy, organ donation coordination, specimen handling and labeling, Whipple procedure, and wound management. You will care for adult and geriatric patients.

Additional Requirements

• Epic charting system experience preferred
• EKG and pharmacology tests required during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each)
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
• 2 supervisor or manager references required
