Operating Room RN Job in Brooksville, FL

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Brooksville, FL. This is a 91-day travel assignment with flexible scheduling to support perioperative staffing needs.

Position Overview

You will work as an OR circulator across 12 operating rooms within the surgical services unit. The role requires a 1:1 patient ratio and collaboration with certified surgical technicians and other OR team members. Your scrub color will be navy blue.

Schedule

• 3x12 shifts, days
• Hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (day shift) or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (night shift coverage)
• Variable call schedule required
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation with hospital staff

Clinical Experience Required

• OR circulator experience
• Main OR experience
• CST (Certified Surgical Technician) experience

Procedures & Systems

The OR handles general surgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics, and gynecology cases. Day shift staffing includes 2 RN circulators and CST coverage; night shift includes 1 RN. You will work with main OR equipment and the Meditech EMR system.
