Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities
• 9-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
• On-call hours on a rotational basis, typically 8-9 shifts per month
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements are weekly and on a rotational basis
• Call response time is 30 minutes from time of page
• Perform scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, and circulating duties
• Work in a 6-suite/lab department averaging 10-15 cases per day
• Cath lab is separate from IR and EP departments
• Cardiologist physicians are on call 24 hours, 365 days a year
• Primary charge nurse on duty from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Floating to other units is not required at this time
• Previous cath lab experience required
• Pediatrics experience preferred but not required
• McKesson Cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required
• EMR/Equipment: EPIC, PACS, and McKesson
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, IEMA
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Orientation is typically 3 to 5 days (12 non-billable orientation hours)
