Cath Lab Technologist Job in Rockford, IL

OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment starting August 10, 2026. You will work 4 nine-hour day shifts per week with start times at 0700 or 0830 as assigned, earning $3,499.20 weekly.

Role Overview

You will perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab. The facility operates 6 suites with an average of 18 cases per day, supporting both coronary and neuro interventional procedures. You will manage high-risk coronary interventions and STEMI cases, with cardiologist support available 24/7. You may be floated to EP/IR as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and circulating STEMI interventions
• High-risk coronary intervention scrubbing experience
• Willingness to learn circulating and monitoring in neuro interventional procedures for on-call purposes
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and ARRT certifications
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) credential

Schedule & Call Expectations

During your 13-week assignment, you will work 5 eight-hour day shifts per week with 4 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) required. Holiday call requirements apply with a 30-minute call response time. Supervisor and charge support are available during operating hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Onboarding & Support

You will complete a 5-shift orientation during your first week. The facility uses Epic and McKesson systems. Scrubs are provided. Common patient types include coronary and neuro cases with varying complexity levels.
