Cath Lab Technologist Job in Peoria, IL

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026. You will earn $4,191 per week working 4x10-hour day shifts in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory.

About the Role

You will perform essential duties in the cardiac cath lab, including scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating. The department operates 6 suites with an average of 10–15 cases per day. A primary charge nurse is on duty from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The cath lab operates as a separate department from IR and EP services.

Scheduling and On-Call

Your primary schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts. You will also have on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis, typically 8–9 shifts per month, with a 30-minute response time from page. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements rotate weekly. Cardiologists are on call 24 hours, 365 days per year to support patient care needs.

Staffing and Support

Technologists do not float to other departments at this time. Scrubs are provided by the hospital. The facility uses EPIC (EMR), PACS, and McKesson Cardiology systems.

Requirements

• Previous cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current IEMA certification
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric cath lab experience
• McKesson Cardiology PACS experience
