ED Registered Nurse Job in Watertown, NY

Samaritan Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Watertown, NY. This 13-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work nights in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where your clinical skills and critical thinking make a direct impact.

Position Details

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Weekly pay: $2,444.04
• 13-week duration, starting August 24, 2026

Requirements

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• MEDITECH experience required
• Travel experience required
• Ability to work within a 100-mile radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience
• Charge nurse experience

You will recognize safety issues, assess and implement appropriate use of lifts, and function effectively in high-stress situations with strong problem-solving abilities. Leadership skills, prioritization, delegation, and excellent communication are essential. You may be required to assume charge nurse duties.

Certifications During Assignment

• Complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and obtain defibrillation certification
• Obtain IV, medication, and phlebotomy certifications during orientation
