Infusion RN Job in Hurricane, WV

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse for an Infusion role at CAMC Cancer Center - Teays Valley in Hurricane, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 30, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Infusion Center and Outpatient Oncology setting
• No call requirement; no floating
• Patient ratio: 1:4 with daily caseload of approximately 12 patients
• Weekly pay: $2,171

Responsibilities

You will administer and monitor chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion treatments for patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses including breast, lung, brain, colorectal, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, melanoma, prostate, pancreatic, ovarian/uterine, liver, kidney, bladder, and ear/nose/throat cancers.

Clinical skills include accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, IV push and continuous infusion chemotherapy administration, phlebotomy, PICC line care, and infusion pump management. You will recognize and manage side effects of cytotoxic therapy, immunotherapy, interferons, and interleukins. Additional medications administered include blood and blood products, coagulation factors, antibiotics, antiemetics, corticosteroids, hormonal therapy, and Neupogen.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Minimum 1 year in-specialty Infusion Center experience
• Inpatient and outpatient oncology experience required
• Cerner charting system experience
• Required certifications: BLS and Chemo (ONS/ONCC); OCN preferred

Additional Information

You will serve adult and geriatric patient populations. Interdisciplinary support is available from phlebotomy and pharmacy. Scrub color is royal blue. This position offers a stable schedule with no floating or call responsibilities, ideal for focused clinical practice in oncology infusion nursing.
