ICU Registered Nurse Job in Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its ICU. You will provide direct patient care in a critical care setting, working 12-hour shifts with a patient ratio of 1:2.

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• Rotate every other weekend and every other holiday
• Subject to low census and on-call assignments with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Float to similar units within your skillset as needed, including other facilities within a 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River)
• Floating may be pre-scheduled based on operational needs

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior critical access or rural experience highly preferred
• AHA or Red Cross BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing

Clinical Environment

• Work with adult patients and occasional pediatric surgical cases including ENT and orthopedic procedures
• Charting performed in EPIC; no prior EPIC experience required
• Any scrub color permitted

This 91-week assignment begins November 9, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,502. You will join a team in a rural critical access hospital setting committed to providing exceptional patient care.
