ICU Registered Nurse Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, offering 3x12-hour night shifts at $2,402.64 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients using clinical expertise and evidence-based protocols
• Float to other ICU-level units within your skillset, including facilities in nearby locations within a 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River)
• Complete patient charting in EPIC; no prior EPIC experience required
• Participate in every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation schedules
• Maintain flexibility for pre-scheduled floating as census needs dictate
• Be available for low-census call with a 2-hour minimum callback requirement

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
• Prior critical access or rural healthcare experience highly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
