PACU RN Job in Rochester, NY

You'll provide direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This role combines pre-procedure support, post-procedure monitoring, and PACU recovery for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic pre- and post-procedure care in the cath lab setting
• Manage PACU recovery for patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary, and structural heart diagnoses
• Provide direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute situations
• Monitor telemetry and vital signs throughout the patient journey
• Work 40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts on straight nights, with occasional weekend assignments based on unit need

Requirements

• Current New York RN license
• Recent CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience highly desired
• Cath lab experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring

This assignment runs for 117 days, starting September 14, 2026. You'll earn $2,802.80 weekly.
