PACU RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for its Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) serving the cardiac catheterization lab. You will work 40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts on a DEN rotation schedule with occasional weekend coverage based on unit needs.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute settings. Your responsibilities include delivering dynamic pre- and post-procedure care, managing PACU recovery for patients, and monitoring patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary, and structural heart conditions. You will work alongside the cardiac catheterization team to ensure safe transitions through all phases of care.

Requirements

• Current New York RN license
• Recent CVICU or cardiac care experience, or recent PACU experience
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)

Compensation and Timeline

This is a 117-day assignment beginning September 28, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,802.80.
