ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour variable shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every weekend schedule required
• Every other holiday rotation, as applicable
• Float to alike units internally and may take med/surg patients occasionally if no ICU patients and high med/surg census
• May float to other locations such as Merrill, Medford, Stanley, and Wausau
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, which count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Unit runs similarly to most step-down units with occasional ventilator patients
• 2 ICU beds with 2 flex bed potential, 1 ICU RN per shift
• Patient ratio: 1 ICU RN per shift
• Scrubs provided in any color, or personal scrubs may be worn
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN license, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
