ICU Registered Nurse Job in Portage, WI

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its ICU in Portage, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week contract position beginning September 7, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights with guaranteed 36 hours per week (orientation week excluded)
• Weekend requirement: 2 out of 4 weekends; night shifts require Friday/Saturday availability
• Holiday rotation required including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• No on-call or backup requirements; additional shifts available for pickup during sick calls
• Contract includes 36 hours of non-billable low census hours; you may be placed on call during low census periods

Unit Overview

Your primary unit is a Medical/Surgical ICU treating joint replacements and general surgical patients. You will have the option to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Med/Surg experience and prior travel healthcare experience required
• ICU and Med/Surg competency demonstrated
• Current Wisconsin RN license
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification from AHA or ARC (current)
• Minimum education: Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Must reside outside 50 miles from the facility
• Dark blue scrubs required

Compensation & Time Off

Weekly pay is $2,351.52. You will not be accommodated for more than 7 days of requested time off during the contract period.
