PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend Saturday/Sunday
• Holiday requirements include Christmas Eve and Christmas Day second call if needed
• On-call requirements include second call if needed
• Must have 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Patient population ranges from 6 months to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Float to sister units as needed and on-campus surgery center as case volume shifts
• Preferred skills include titrating drips, cardiac, and multi-specialty experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only), NIH, and VA State License or Compact
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Dress code must be followed per facility policy
