CVOR RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Swedish CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit in Denver. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call: 1–2 shifts per week (5:00 PM to 7:00 PM), plus every 6th Saturday and Sunday (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Patient ratio: 1:1 (estimated)
• Weekly pay: $2,540

About the Role

You will work in a 14-operating-room cardiovascular surgery unit with 70 full-time staff. Your responsibilities include assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, managing the operating room environment, and providing pre- and post-operative care. You will handle a range of open-heart procedures including AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall procedures, and aortic dissection cases.

Day shift teams include one charge nurse, one RN, one surgical technologist per OR, PCTs, and anesthesia technicians. Night shift structure mirrors this model.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience as a CVOR RN
• Open heart surgery experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I trauma experience
• Meditech EMR experience
• Cardiovascular nursing background
