Job Details:

• Work across multiple care settings including ICU, NICU, ER, and floor therapy
• Treat patient age groups ranging from neonates and infants to adults and geriatrics
• Most common disciplines include adult care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Top diagnoses include respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, post-op CAB, pneumonia, CHF, sleep apnea, ARDS, prematurity, and COVID-19
• Manage 8-12 patients every 4 hours
• Productivity standard of approximately 15 minutes per count of 1
• Administer applicable medications including LABA, LAMA, SABA, ICS, and surfactant
• Perform skills and procedures including mechanical ventilation, critical care, inhaled medications, noninvasive ventilation, arterial puncture, inhaled nitric oxide, and heliox
• NICU experience preferred but negotiable; mechanical ventilation and critical care experience required
• Will accept CRT with NICU experience preferred but not required
• NRP required if traveler has NICU experience
• Most common equipment includes Drager v500, vn500, Evita XL, Carina, Philips V60, and V30
• Subject to downstaffing of 36 to 48 hours within a 13-week contract based on weekly schedule
