Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Columbia, SC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (shift end times vary as staff remain until procedures complete)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift

Compensation and Benefits

• Weekly pay: $2,592
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for EP Lab
• Radiation badge required and provided by agency

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years nursing experience
• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• EP Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Clinical Skills and Knowledge

• Required: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Additional skills: Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Conduction Studies, Emergency Medications, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Pacemaker Insertion, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal Agents, Scrub Procedures, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems
