Med Surg RN Job in Georgetown, TX

You'll work as an RN on a 14-bed Med/Surg unit (2 North) at Georgetown Hospital, a St. David's facility in Georgetown, Texas. This is a 13-week contract assignment with night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating weekend schedule.

Your Role

You'll care for patients with a ratio of 1:5, working alongside 2 other RNs and 1 Patient Care Technician during each shift. Your responsibilities include:

• Direct patient care and assessment
• Operation of Alaris pump equipment
• Electronic charting in the MEDITECH system
• Assistance with procedures such as bronchoscopy, EGD, and colonoscopy
• Team collaboration in a supportive unit environment

Requirements and Preferences

You must hold current BLS certification. NIHSS certification is required. ACLS and rhythm interpretation certifications are preferred. Scrub color requirement is navy.

Assignment Details

Start date: October 26, 2026. Weekly pay: $1,525. Total duration: 91 days (13 weeks). You'll need flexibility and a collaborative approach to patient care and unit operations.
