ICU RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN in the ICU at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a travel position running 91 days, starting August 3, 2026. You'll be compensated at $2,102.40 weekly and work three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM–7:15 AM).

What You'll Do

• Serve on the rapid response team, covering multiple areas of the facility rather than managing a single patient assignment
• Respond to cardiac arrests, provide TTM and post-resuscitation care, and manage trauma, stroke, and STEMI workups
• Work alongside core hospital staff in a 24/7 staffing model with a 2-RN-per-shift structure on a split floor plan
• Use the Cerner EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Rotate weekends with no on-call responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• RN license (required)
• More than 5 years of ICU experience
• Dedicated rapid response team experience highly recommended
• Medical ICU or Emergency Department background preferred
• Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications required

Mission Hospital is a full-service facility where you'll collaborate with experienced nursing staff. Dress code is royal blue scrubs or facility-provided house scrubs.
