ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Self-scheduling with unit needs consideration required
• 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period required
• Travelers float first to other ICUs or step-down units
• Neurology experienced ICU nurses preferred
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• Must have prior ICU experience
• Advanced skills required in care of neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients, as well as post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring
• Documentation using Cerner electronic health record system
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps
• Required dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
