ED RN Job in Farmington, CT

UConn John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, CT is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 98-week travel assignment starting October 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) scheduled
• Call and holiday rotation participation required
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays with no holiday time off approval
• May float to Psych Hold area as needed
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis for unit coverage

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel experience in the ED (non-negotiable)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIH Stroke Scale

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,927
